Cost Comparison of Low-Protein vs. Regular Food

This cost comparison was done by PKU parent Marsha Magol of Tampa, Florida. It was used to help convince state legislators that the special low protein foods available should be covered by insurance. They were effective in making their case; the state passed a favorable law in 1995.
