National PKU Alliance

Description: The National PKU Alliance was formed in April 2008 by representatives of existing local PKU organizations for the purpose of creating a national forum to address the issues and concerns of those dealing with PKU. The NPKUA's vision for this national organization is to unify the PKU community, to support local and regional organizations and to focus on national issues, such as legislation and insurance coverage, research, and education.

Services: The NPKUA will organize the efforts of individuals relating to National PKU Awareness month, will be hosting national and international conference for the entire PKU community and will provide educational materials to the local organizations. In addition, the NPKUA will establish a Scientific Advisory Board that will oversee and direct the future of research relating to PKU.
